Texas Bring In vs. Bring In

Facilitator: Mark Wolfe

November 8, 2018
5:30pm-7:30pm

Texas is attracting and retaining domestic and international migrants and is by far the ‘stickiest’ state in the nation. What kinds of things are attracting people and firms to Texas? How does the Lone Star State retain its existing residents? The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas’ Alex Abraham and Stephanie Gullo will share highlights from a recent report they co-wrote that will answer these and other questions. During this chapter meeting, members will also hear about ATD’s achievements in 2018, learn about the chapter’s vision for 2019 and participate in the swearing-in process for incoming ATD board members. Afterward, take advantage of an opportunity to learn more about the Federal Reserve by participating in a guided tour!

Stephanie Gullo: Stephanie is a research analyst in the regional group at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. Previously, she graduated with my Master's in Public Administration from the Bush School at Texas A&M in May 2016.

Alex Abraham: Alex currently works for the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas’ Research Department as a programmer analyst. He works most closely with the department’s Regional Economy team. He has been with the Bank for nearly two years after graduating from Purdue University with a degree in Economics.
